It will not rest until it has all of Grymoire in its feathery grasp. However, don't count this villain out for good. Luckily, Bartz and Chocolatte came to the rescue and thwarted the Mecha Chocobo's plans. Cognification When the Mecha Chocobo saw the strength of Boko's mind, body, and spirit-honed as they were through years of travel with Bartz-it abducted Boko and attempted to transform him into a loyal Cogna. Thankfully, Bartz and his friends were able to put a stop to its mecha machinations before they got off the ground. Notes: Cogna / Transforming robot / But also a chocobo Hyperion's Enslaver With the powerful black chocobo Hyperion under its control, the Mecha Chocobo was plotting to create a new chocobo world order. It may have some level of malicious intent, however, as it can be argued it created Mecha Chocobo to masquerade as a chocobo and capture and turn said creatures into Cognas for some sort of scheme. The moogle residing within it has no discernible personality, as it never speaks and its existence is never acknowledged. Despite this, it doesn't seem to care about the well-being of its own brethren, as it has no qualms using Hyperion's power for its own and turning Boko into a Cogna against its will. Mecha Chocobo despises humans, believing chocobos are smarter than them and should be Grymoire's dominant species. Like most of its kind, the moogle sports yellow fur, slanted eyes, and a big, red nose. The slot in the hatch shows very little of the being that resides within it, but it's enough to confirm that it's a moogle. In the center of the hatch is a small, rectangular slot with a portion cut out of the bottom of it. The front of it has a hatch that leads to a compartment in its body, signified by the black outline that resembles a the silhouette of a certain creature. Its main body is a simple spherical shape. It's "talons" are large, sharp, and contain a single large wheel under each of them. Its "tailfeathers" are sharp, lined with black, and contain a large thruster under them. Its "wings" are round and wide, and the undersides of them are a light shade of black. Its "plumage" consists of three pointed adornments affixed to the back of its head, with yellow-tinted spires sticking out of each of them. It has black circles under its white, glowing eyes. Elsewhere in the trailer, you can see the castle track previously shown in the Chocobo GP announcement trailer.Mecha Chocobo is a Cogna that looks like an adult version of the Mecha Choco. The trailer also reveals a quick glimpse at a track we’ve not seen before – you can see it around the 1:26 minute mark and it looks like a Final Fantasy spin on Mario Kart Wii's Moo Moo Meadows. Although Chocobo GP has its own series ready to go at launch, players can create their own, too. We also learn that similar to other kart racers, a series will consist of four races. In it, we get more details about the game, including a brief look at its story mode, some of the characters we can expect to see, and more. Today’s March 10 release date news was announced in a release date trailer on the Nintendo UK YouTube channel. Plus, if Final Fantasy is more your franchise versus Mario or any of the others highlighted in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, then Chocobo GP might be your new favorite kart racer. Look, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is arguably the best kart racer out there so it’s not surprising to see another racer take on a similar shape. From the item boxes, err, Magicites, placed throughout the track to the track design and even the way racers drift, Chocobo GP looks very much like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
